This course will help you master medical terminology. The course will review medical terminology key word parts and examination positions. Emphasis will be placed on pathology, diagnostic and treatment procedures, imaging techniques, laboratory tests and nuclear medicine. Abbreviations and their meanings will be covered and the importance of using them accurately.

• Define anatomy and physiology and the uses of anatomical reference systems to identify the anatomical position plus body planes, directions, and cavities; and
• Identify the medical specialists who treat disorders of each of the body systems.
