Students will continue to develop personal styles and approaches toward creating original designs. The goal will be to produce professional personal work for a consistent brand. Students will demonstrate an understanding of the business of graphic design and the careers that are available within the industry. Working together as a creative team and understanding giving and receiving constructive criticism will be applied. Students will create products to be displayed in their portfolios.

- Demonstrate a working knowledge of printers;
- Understand differences between printing options and the cost differences;
- Manage a project from initial meeting with client to completion of printed piece;
- Develop a personal viewpoint of aesthetics and creativity in design problem solving;
- Apply principles of design as studied in the prerequisite sequence of courses;
- Demonstrate the ability to make critical assessments of design problems and solutions;
- Compare and evaluate designs for effectiveness;
- Design and assemble multiple marketing pieces with a unified identity for one company;
- Perform professionally while working with clients and other designers; and
- Demonstrate quality use of time management.
