1. Lecture Sessions
1. Develop a comprehensive understanding of free weights and other strength training equipment, including how to safely use and operate the equipment
2. Understand the risks that are inherent to a weight room/gym environment and how to avoid and/or deal with them
3. Understand how the human body works in regard to its various muscle groups and how to properly exercise those muscles in sequence
2. Laboratory/Studio Sessions
1. Learn proper techniques and exercises for strengthening various muscle groups
2. Develop a workout plan that is going to be personalized to fit your needs/goals
3. Learn the difference between concentric, eccentric, and isometric exercises
4. Utilize proper and effective Total-Body, High Intensity Interval Training, Progressive Dynamic, and Injury-Prevention warm up routines
5. Understand the various phases of workouts including Hypertrophy, Unload, Strength, Power, and Speed
