4. Course Description:

This course will review many introductory algebra topics as well as introduce some new topics in algebra.  Topics taught in this course include:  linear equations, linear inequalities, equations of lines, graphing, exponents, polynomials, factoring, systems of equations, quadratic equations, rational expressions and equations, complex numbers, radicals, and functions. Additional topics may also be covered.

MATH 1506 - Beginning College Algebra

Applies to all requirements
Accuplacer score of 52 or higher on Elementary Algebra exam or score of 65 or higher on Arithmetic exam, or completion of MATH 058x (module 8) with a grade of B or higher.
