4. Course Description:

This course will cover the role that a conservation officer plays in managing natural resources, as well as basic field equipment (i.e., binoculars, spotting scopes, blinds, etc.) used in the process. Discussions will be held with local conservation officers to learn about their jobs and the roles they play within the Natural Resources community. Ethical considerations to prevent harm to the individual animal and still have a quality viewing experience will also be covered.
