This course provides 30 minute private lessons with the instructor once a week covering basic music knowledge and performing skills on the medium specified, conducting. Skills and literature will be specific to the individual and level of the student in the genre of conducting. One studio conducting performance per semester. This course is repeatable. MnTC Goal 6

Private lessons will be provided for each student with individual guidance regarding specific and special performance problems. Student questions are addressed at this time and teacher evaluation and guidance as to specific tasks for the next lesson are addressed.
