4. Course Description:

This course is a co-requisite for students taking Introduction to Statistics (MATH 1460) who do not meet the placement requirements for that course. Course topics will focus on required skills and will be parallel to the topics covered in MATH 1460, including evaluation of numerical and algebraic expressions, calculator and/or computer usage for statistical analysis, reinforcement of definitions and concepts, and the development and interpretation of a variety of graphs and tables.
