2. Course Specific Outcomes - Students will be able to achieve the following measurable goals upon completion of
the course:
- Understand and demonstrate a good and appropriate work-out program according to body type;
- Develop a work-out program appropriate for a specific body type;
- Demonstrate the safety standards, fundamentals, techniques and strategies of strength training, and integrate them into a personal program;
- Identify common training injuries, list preventive measures, and describe basic methods of rehabilitating injuries.
- Apply fundamental knowledge of benefits, adaptations and principles to resistance training programs; and
- Identify appropriate muscles, movements, and joint actions executed through various exercises.
