4. Course Description:

This is an applied course designed to simulate a media production department in a corporate environment. Students will focus on producing authentic corporate/industrial videos for the college community and local non-profit organizations. Students will also produce live events for sharing via social media webcasting services. A substantial amount of time outside of the scheduled class time will be required, including nights and weekends. Students will gain hands-on experience creating relevant corporate content – a necessary requirement for contemporary media professionals.
