- Identify and use appropriate fasteners and sealants; and

- Automotive Measurement and Math
- Use both customary and metric measuring systems
- Identigy basic measuring tools
- Describe the use of common measuring tools
- Use decimal and metric conversion charts
- Demonstrate proper use of precision measuring tools (i.e. micrometer, dial indicator, dial caliper)
- Fasteners, Gaskets, Seals, and Sealants
- Identify commonly used automotive fastners
- Remove, select, and install gaskets, seals, and sealants correctly
- Identify basic nut and bolt terminology
- Recycling and disposal of autoshop wastes
- Clarify purposes and goals of the EPA
- Identify proper disposal of all automotive wastes
- Demonstrate proper disposal of automotive wastes
